Gardens
by Design

Gardens by Design is a multi-disciplined garden design and maintenance company based in South West Scotland, delivering considered, high quality outdoor spaces for discerning clients.

Our approach is rooted in a genuine understanding of the land. With a background in biodynamic growing and extensive horticultural knowledge, we bring an informed, thoughtful perspective to every project — from the soil up. This depth of knowledge shapes everything we do, ensuring that every garden we create is not only beautiful but ecologically considered and built to endure.

We offer a comprehensive range of services including full garden redesign, bespoke boutique garden creation, patio and hard landscaping, walling, stone masonry and ongoing maintenance. Each project is approached individually, with close attention to the client's vision, the character of the site and the surrounding landscape.

Our team combines design expertise with skilled tradespeople, allowing us to manage projects from initial concept through to completion — with one point of contact and an uncompromising standard of finish throughout.

We take on a select number of projects at any one time to ensure every client receives our full attention.
